Baby Shower Invites

For this project, I decided to incorporate hand-sketched elements into the design of invitations for an autumn-themed baby shower. The client had expressed a desire for a design that conveyed the warmth and coziness of the fall season, so I felt that hand-drawn elements would be the perfect fit. To achieve this, I used warm colors like burnt orange, brown, and yellow, and drew elements like leaves, pumpkins, and acorns by hand. I also selected a mix of fonts that complemented the hand-drawn elements and gave the invitations a playful and fun feel. However, one of the challenges I faced was striking the right balance between the hand-sketched elements and the typography. I wanted to ensure that the typography was legible and easily readable, but also complemented the hand-drawn elements. Despite this challenge, the client was thrilled with the final product and received many compliments on the invitations. This project inspired me to continue exploring hand-drawn elements in my future designs.
