CRAFTSMAN
As a part of the Craftsman brand at Stanley Black & Decker, I played an integral role in rolling out the rebrand of the entire lineup of Power and Outdoor tools within a tight deadline of just 4 months. This involved a lot of production work, but despite that, I was able to leverage my creative freedom to design new custom icons from conception to completion. One of my main challenges during this project was creating custom icons for tools that I had never used before. To overcome this obstacle, I conducted thorough research on each product and consulted with experts within the company to gain a better understanding of their unique features and benefits. This allowed me to create icons that not only accurately represented each tool, but also captured the essence of the brand. These icons were then featured in the packaging revamp and print collateral, adding a cohesive and polished touch to the entire brand redesign. Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with various departments, including marketing, branding, and other creative teams. This allowed me to gain valuable experience in working with different stakeholders and adapting to diverse perspectives. Additionally, I had the opportunity to collaborate with our team overseas, which exposed me to different project management tools and approaches. Overall, my experience at Stanley Black & Decker enabled me to develop my skills in project management, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, while contributing to the successful launch of a major rebranding initiative.
