DMV Caribbean Association

For this project, I was tasked with designing a logo and T-shirt for the DMV Caribbean Association. The association's main objective is to enhance the well-being of the Caribbean community in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. To reflect the organization's values of unity and upliftment, I focused on creating designs that were bold, vibrant, and inclusive. I explored different design concepts and presented various options to the client. One of the challenges I faced during this project was finding the right balance between representing the Caribbean community and the DMV region. I wanted to create designs that spoke to both aspects of the organization while also conveying a strong message of unity. Ultimately, I created a logo that incorporated elements of the Caribbean flag and DMV region, using bold and vibrant colors to represent the energy and spirit of the community. For the T-shirt design, I used the logo as the centerpiece and added uplifting phrases that reflected the association's mission. The final designs were well-received by the client and the community, and the T-shirts were a hit at the association's events. It was an honor to work on a project that aimed to uplift and advance the well-being of such a vibrant and diverse community.
