SIERRA LEONE NURSES ASSOCIATION NORTH AMERICA

For this project, I was tasked with designing the tickets and flyers for a dinner and dance fundraiser organized by the Sierra Leone Association of North America. The organization's objective is to foster quality healthcare delivery in Sierra Leone, and the event was aimed at raising funds for this cause. To give the design a distinctly Sierra Leonean feel, I used the country's color palette and incorporated elements of the national flag. However, one of the challenges I faced was balancing the use of bright colors with the need for a professional and elegant design. To address this challenge, I opted to use the bright colors more sparingly, while using a more muted color palette for the majority of the design. I also used clean lines and modern typography to give the design a professional look and feel. Overall, the design was well-received, and the tickets and flyers played an important role in promoting the event and generating interest and attendance. I was proud to be a part of this fundraising effort for such an important cause, and I believe that my design helped to contribute to the overall success of the event.
